In 2007, Vestas launched their first ever pan-regional brand campaign, partnering with CNN to communicate their brand position as #1 in modern energy. As part of their campaign, Vestas sponsored Planet in Peril. Weekly segments and highlights culminated in a two-hour special program seen on CNN globally.

Planet in Peril helped Vestas reach their target audience in a relevant environment driving awareness of the brand and ultimately consumer investment. The partnership yielded remarkable shifts in brand awareness and Vestas continued their sponsorship of the award-winning Planet in Peril through 2008 on CNN- both in the US and Internationally.
